National League

HC Lugano announced today that they have signed the forward to a two-year extension that is valid through the 2021-22 season.

Luca Fazzini will remain in Lugano for two more seasons.

Luca Fazzini, whose contract with the Bianconeri would have expired at the end of the current season, is part of the organization of HC Lugano since he was eight years old. With them, he debuted in the National League at the age of 17 and since then, the 24-year-old suited up 347 times with Lugano.

In this season, Fazzini leads the team with eight goals and twelve points. His eight goals in 14 games so far are good for third-most in the entire league, only behind his former teammate Gregory Hofmann, and Pius Suter. Moreover, only two U25 players have recorded more points than him (Suter and Dominik Egli).
