National League

According to La Liberté, HC Lugano, EHC Biel and HC Ambrì-Piotta seem to be the most obvious destinations for the goaltender.

Ludovic Waeber will probably not renew his contract with Fribourg.

Biel already has an eye on him, team manager Martin Steinegger admits: "We are watching him, he is on our list of potential players in case we go with a young Swiss rather than with a foreign goalkeeper."

Ludovic Waeber, for his part, says to La Liberté that he is ready to leave his hometown club if he manages to find another club, either in the National League or in the Swiss League. While he is in no hurry, he would like to know where he is headed before Christmas.

Also Frank Stettler (Freiburger Nachrichten) reports that Waeber is looking for a new team, as the goaltender thinks he has a legitimate claim to a spot in the National League.

Waeber debuted with the Dragons in National League two years ago and overall he suited up 32 times for them. This season, the 23-year-old has posted a 93.2% save percentage with a 1.44 GAA in two games so far.
