The Finnish head coach has supposedly confirmed to the Bears that he would stay in Bern also for the next season. Jalonen, 59, arrived in Switzerland at the beginning of the 2016-17 season, immediately winning the Swiss championship, which he won also last season. Moreover, under his guidance, SC Bern has closed the regular season in the first place for three years in a row.
