According to the Berner Zeitung, SC Bern issued a high offer to Mark Arcobello. "He is one of the top earners, but he is a player who deserves his salary", team manager Alex Chatelain states.

The forward, for his part, says that he could easily imagine staying with the team, as Bern has become like a "second home" to him. However, it remains to be seen whether the Bears' offer is enough to keep him in the capital city.

Arcobello is currently in his fourth season with SC Bern. The forward has played 195 National League games, recording 86 goals and 120 assists.
