MTV Urheilu broke the news yesterday that the Finn is also set to join the Bears. Kari Jalonen now confirms the report to the Berner Zeitung: "It's a win-win situation. They are currently both stars of Finnish ice hockey and good guys." Mikko Rantanen will arrive in Bern tomorrow.

The 22-year-old forward is one of several RFAs who are not yet locked up for the 2019-20 season. He trained with TPS Turku and Storhamer IL thus far this summer. In 74 regular-season games for the Colorado Avalanche, Rantanen recorded 31 goals and 56 assists.
