Returning to Switzerland from the EHCL's Norfolk Admirals, Chuard hoped to earn a contract through a try-out with HC Lugano. As the club announced today, they decided to not keep around the 23-year-old.
The Bianconeri also have sent four players to the HCB Ticino Rockets. Netminder Thibault Fatton (17), defenseman Lucas Matewa (19) as well as forwards Loic Vedova (22) and Marc Camichel (20) will all start the season in the Swiss League.
