Having entered into a partnership a year ago, HC Davos and the HCB Ticino Rockets are planning to deepen their cooperation in the future. The National League-team will have a seat in the administrative board of the Rockets and make monetary investments into them.
"There are two deciding points to get involved with a Swiss League-team. For one thing, we want to give our U20-players a chance to present themselves in men's hockey. Apart from that, the development of young players can be continued, as the difference in levels between the U20 junior league and the National League is vast and the development is far from being completed at the age of 20", Davos' head of development, René Müller, says.
They are not the only team invested into the Rockets. Originally, the team was started as a project by HC Ambrì-Piotta and HC Lugano.
