The Swedish forward, whose contract expired at the end of the 2018-19 season, has signed a two-year extension with EV Zug.

Carl Klingberg will be a Bull for two more years.

Team manager Reto Kläy is looking forward to the continuation of the cooperation: "he is an important player for us, has an incredibly good character and is an absolute role model with his fighting spirit and his winning mentality." With the extension of Klingberg, EV Zug has now three import-players under contract for the next season, Erik Thorell and David McIntyre being the other two.

Carl Klingberg came to Zug from the Torpedo Nizhny Novgorod for the 2016-17 season and collected 96 points in his 155 games for the Bulls so far. In 2017, the 28-year-old was a member of the Swedish national team that won the World Championship.
