The 39-year-old leaves the HCB Ticino Rockets and has signed a two-year contract as an assistant for head coach Patrick Emond.

Jan Cadieux will assist head coach Patrick Emond.

Jan Cadieux, who played for Genève-Servette HC from 2003 to 2011, thus returns to Geneva in a new capacity. "Jan's return to the GSHC family is great news," team manager Chris McSorley says. "Just like when he was a player, Jan is a hard worker, extremely competitive and his coaching experience will be a real added value."

For the past two seasons, the 39-year-old coached the HCB Ticino Rockets in the Swiss League. In February, Cadieux already told La Liberté that he might leave the Rockets: "I would like to take a step ahead and work as an assistant coach in the National League, for example." A step that he will now take in Geneva.
