The Dragons are going to confirm the addition of the two import-players at their press conference in April, La Liberté reports.

Already in December, Le Matin reported that HC Fribourg-Gottéron has inked a one-year deal with American defender Ryan Gunderson. Because the 33-year-old was still in the midst of the SHL playoffs with his current employer Brynäs IF until yesterday, they would not want to confirm the deal yet.

HCFG's team manager Christian Dubé describes the Gunderson as a "power play player who can distribute the puck well". The American has appeared in 52 games with the SHL's Brynäs this season, in which he recorded 38 points (eight goals).

Moreover, also the return of Canadian forward David Desharnais is a done deal, La Liberté writes. The 32-year-old already suited up for the Dragons during the NHL-lockout in 2012. Currently, the forward is playing for the KHL's Avangard Omsk, for which he has recorded 30 points (seven goals) in 62 games this season so far.
