Although the 32-year-old Canadian has not yet received an offer for a contract extension, he is not getting nervous: "No, because I know that I will be offered a contract by a club," he says in an interview with Der Bund. "My performance is okay and it has been okay in recent years."

First and foremost, Gagnon's focus lies on his current club, the SCL Tigers: "I would like to stay here," the Canadian forward says. "My agent and the club's management will have to talk to each other in the next few weeks. But I don't need immediate clarity."

Aaron Gagnon is currently in his second season with the Tigers. In a total of 76 games for them, he recorded 30 goals and 19 assists.
