His vacation from hockey did not last long: Only a couple of months after his retirement, the former captain is back on board. Mathias Seger joins the ZSC Lions' coaching staff as of today. His main job will be to work with ZSC's defense.

Mathias Seger retired at the end of the past season after having played 19 seasons in Zurich. He joined the club in 1999 from the SC Rapperswil-Jona Lakers and, over time, became one of the most important players in the history of the club.
