Alex Chatelain, team manager of SC Bern, revealed that the club accepts the decision of the single judge and will not appeal the decision. Chatelain, however, "hopes that in future cases the criteria which define the suspension will be applied with equal consistency."

This means that the 27-year-old forward will miss three more games, having already missed yesterday's game against Genève-Servette HC. Therefore he will be available again on January 26, for the game against HC Fribourg-Gottèron.
