The 31-year-old forward has supposedly been issued an offer by HC Fribourg-Gottéron. They might come to an agreement in the next couple of days. Lauper left the Dragons in 2014 and signed with HC Ambrì-Piotta. This season, he has recorded two goals and three assists in 25 games.

In other news, Frank Stettler (Freiburger Nachrichten) reports that Sandro Zangger is not an option for the Dragons, as he is, according to Christian Dubé, too expensive for the team. Sandro Zangger has, according to Sport-Center's Grégory Beaud, been offered to several teams. His contract with Lausanne HC expires at the end of the season.
