The 29-year-old Canadian joins SCB from the KHL's Severstal Cherepovets and already arrived in Bern yesterday.

Zach Boychuk has signed a contract with SC Bern until the end of the current 2018-19 season. As soon as all the formalities have been completed and he receives his playing license, the Canadian centre will hit the ice for his new team.

Boychuk played in the KHL since the 2016-17 season for Sibir Novosibirsk, Slovan Bratislava and Severstal Cherepovets. All in all, he completed 95 KHL-games and put up a total of 44 points (20 goals, 24 assists).
