He is headed to Geneva as an injury replacement for Lance Bouma. He has signed a one-year contract.

Skille's players' agent Aljoša Pilko confirmed to swisshockeynews.ch earlier today that the former NHL forward had signed with a Swiss team. The American played in the KHL last year. He suited up for Dinamo Minks, recording eleven goals and 14 assists in 41 games. He also had signed a PTO with the Ottawa Senators but was released from it last week.

The 31-year-old was a first-round draft pick of the Chicago Blackhawks back in 2005. He appeared in a total of 374 NHL games for the Hawks, the Florida Panthers, Columbus Blue Jackets, the Colorado Avalanche, and the Vancouver Canucks. Over the course of his career, he also played 211 AHL games
