According to a report from RTS, Genève-Servette HC has managed to pay out the November salaries. At the same time, however, the club is trying to reduce its payroll.

Therefore, Genève-Servette HC supposedly put three players on the market a few weeks ago: Foward Nathan Gerbe (USA), as well as defensemen Eliot Antonietti and Daniel Vukovic. While Gerbe's and Vukovic's contract are still running through to the 2018-19 season, the one of Antonietti will expire next year. Total payroll: CHF 1.565 million. The Grenats currently have the most expensive roster in club history, the same source reports.

Regarding the new arena, a first important decision is expected to be taken in the middle of this week on Thursday, November 30, when the project's steering committee (including representatives of Geneva's city council) will have a meeting.

According to a recent report from Le Matin, investors would be ready, but apparently do not like that the City of Geneva demands a public tender for the construction works. It seems to be quite clear that the club needs the new arena in order to remain attractive for new investors.
