EV Zug's team manager Reto Kläy recently confirmed the club's interest in Jesse Zgraggen. His counterpart in Ambrì, Paolo Duca, has taken note of that but reassures that nothing is set in stone yet.

"Jesse has definitely blossomed this year. We knew his potential, but I think that he has never found so much space and trust in him as under the current leadership," HCAP's team manager Paolo Duca tells Ticinonews. "Clearly, we would be wise to keep him but it always takes two sides to reach an agreement. At the moment, nothing is set in stone yet."

Zgraggen, 24, joined the Biancoblù from the Regina Pats of North America's Western Hockey League (WHL) in 2014. This term thus far, the defenseman has appeared in 20 games for Ambrì, scoring four goals and three assists. His contract is set to expire at the end of the season.
