Andersén, whose contract would have been valid through to the 2017-18 season, joined EHC Kloten from KHL's Avtomobilist Yekaterinburg this summer. In a total of 18 games for them, the 29-year-old only managed to score one goal while posting a team-low minus-15 rating.

EHC Kloten will try to find a replacement for Andersén as soon as possible, the club announces. Andersén, for his part, returns to the Kontinental Hockey League. As Jokerit Helsinki informed later today, they have signed the Swede to a contract for the remainder of the season.
