As Blick and the news agency Keystone-SDA report, Geisser had to undergo further medical examinations after the game, and it is not yet sure how seriously hurt he is. The results are not yet known.
If Geisser was not able to play again at this World Championship, he would probably be replaced by Jonas Siegenthaler, who is set to make his debut in Riga on Thursday against Slovakia.
