On Monday night, Timo Meier got hit to the head and sent to the locker room in the final period of Game 7 in the series between the New Jersey Devils and the New York Rangers. He did return to the bench, but not to the game later on.
Despite taking part in Wednesday's morning skate, Meier will not be suiting up for Game 1 of the Second-Round series versus the Carolina Hurricanes.
