Also, Canadian defender Éric Gélinas, who has been out since October 25 with a hip injury, has to undergo surgery and will be out for a longer time.
As SC Bern also informs, there is still no timeline for a return of forward Marco Lehmann, who has been dealing with stomach problems for months. Domink Kahun (shoulder), for his part, should be back in two to three weeks, whereas Vincent Ryser (knee) is set to return to game action with SCB's U20 this weekend.
