For the past two seasons, Simon Gamache played for HC Fribourg-Gottéron and reached the playoff-finals last year. Despite his successful season with 52 points (25 goals, 27 assists) in 63 games, HCFG did not extend his contract.

Now he will move to Germany to play with the Adler Mannheim. He will wear the jersey with the number 9 and is expected to make his debut in the DEL on October 2nd against the Iserlohn Roosters.
