Miika Salomäki has been provisionally suspended for a check to the head of HC Lugano's Oliwer Kaski in the eighth minute of play of last night's game. Kaski had to leave the game after the incident and was unable to resume playing.
Salomäki will thus be out of Lausanne HC's lineup for at least one game. In four games for them this season, he has recorded one goal and two assists.
