"It’s time to open up a new chapter. Thank you hockey for all the great moments [and] emotions," Evelina Raselli wrote on her personal Instagram, sharing pictures of herself throughout her hockey career.

Raselli has been a permanent fixture in Swiss women's hockey, having played in nine World Championships and three Olympic Games. She won a bronze medal at the Olympics as well as the World Championship with the Swiss national team.

She also won several championships with HC Ladies Lugano and won the Isobel Cup with the Boston Pride last season. Raselli played most of her career with Lugano with the exception of half a season with Brynäs IF, two seasons with SC Reinach, and one with the Pride last season.
