Diego Kostner will not be returning to HC Ambrì-Piotta's lineup anytime soon. To finally overcome his adductor problems, he will undergo surgery and thus miss another six to eight weeks. The forward has only been able to suit up for the Biancoblù's first game of the season.

Johnny Kneubuehler's recovery from a lesion in the pelvic area has not been going as well as expected. He will undergo more exams by a specialist and his return has thus been delayed. Captain Elias Bianchi, sidelined due to a concussion, is out indefinitely.

On a more positive note, goaltender Benjamin Conz and forward Fabio Hofer have been able to resume skating and will return to the lineup soon. Jiří Novotný's road back is going well and he should be able to return by February.
