After his short stint with EHC Winterthur (five games), Atte Karppinen has decided to sign a one-year contract with Iisalmen Peli-Karhut, for which he already played in the past. Karppinen joined EHC Winterthur in February as a replacement for Matt Wilkins, who had sustained an injury.

Forward Atte Karppinen returns to Finland
The 24-year-old, who played a handful of games for EHC Winterthur in the past season, will join his former team, IPK, in the Mestis.
