Anssi Salmela: Austria-bound?

As Austrian hockey-news portal Ring SPORTS reports based on an article by the Krone, Anssi Salmela might join the ICEHL's Klagenfurter AC. A member of EHC Biel for the last two years, the 36-year-old is very unlikely to stay in Switzerland for the upcoming season.

During his time in the Seeland, the Finnish defenseman recorded 15 goals and 27 assists over the course of 98 games. He missed parts of last season due to a broken cheekbone.
