A total of ten players from Swiss teams have been drafted at today's CHL Import Draft.

Italian forward Tommaso De Luca, a player of HC Ambrì-Piotta, was selected 13th overall by the Spokane Chiefs. As for the Swiss players, Kimo Gruber (EHC Kloten) was the highest pick, being selected 23rd overall by the Oshawa Generals.

Here are the rest of the players that were drafted today: Luc Schweingruber (defenseman, SC Bern, SUI) selected by the Owen Sound Attack, Leo Braillard (forward, EHC Biel, SUI) drafted by the Shawinigan Cataractes, as well as Alessio Beglieri (goaltender, EHC Biel, SUI-ITA), who was selected by the Mississauga Steelheads. Valdemar William Hull (forward, HC Fribourg-Gottéron, SUI-DEN) was picked by the same team.

Also selected was 19-year-old forward Joel Marchon (EV Zug, SUI). His rights now belong to Sherbrooke Phoenix. EHC Kloten's Kai Knak (defenseman, SUI) was selected by the Seattle Thunderbirds. His teammate, David Reinbacher (defenseman, AUT), on the other hand, was drafted by the Sarnia Sting. 17-year-old goaltender, Tim Metzger (GCK Lions, SUI), for his part, was picked by the Everett Silvertips.
