While HC Slovan Bratislava will replace Team Canada at the Spengler Cup, the Biancoblù will be replaced by "Bern Selection". As earlier reported by the Berner Zeitung, the team will consist of players from SC Bern, the SCL Tigers, and EHC Biel.
The team managers of the three teams will gather and discuss over the next few hours which players they will make available to the "Bern Selection" team. An update about the roster will follow.
