As usual, HC Davos has added reinforcements for the Spengler Cup. This year, Jesper Olofsson and Harri Pesonen from the SCL Tigers as well as Valtteri Filppula from Genève-Servette HC will join them for the tournament.
Swede Olofsson, the current scoring leader of the National League, has recorded 14 goals and 18 assists throughout 23 games so far this season. His teammate Harri Pesonen has put up twelve goals and 13 assists in the same amount of games. Grenat Valtteri Filppula has recorded four fewer goals but the same amount of assists as his fellow Finn Pesonen.
HC Ambrì-Piotta, for their part, will likely be reinforced by players from SC Bern and EV Zug.
