The addition of Romain Loeffel as of 2022 might bring some calm in SC Bern's planning. In 2022, the contracts of five of their current seven defensemen are expiring, including those of leading figures such as Ramon Untersander, Beat Gerber and Eric Blum.
Moreover, the Berner Zeitung writes, that a return of forward Marco Müller from HC Ambrì-Piotta for the upcoming season is no longer likely. As a consequence, the Bears will probably look to sign a center as their fourth import-player.
