The netminder's contract is up after this season. In all likelihood, SC Bern will keep him around, but he might end up elsewhere.

EHC Biel currently is on the lookout for a successor to their current goaltender Jonas Hiller, who has announced his retirement for the end of this season.

According to Blick, one of their targets is Philip Wüthrich. The youngster, playing for SC Langenthal on loan from SC Bern, will see his contract running out next spring. While the Bears will presumably want to extend with the netminder and perhaps have him replace Pascal Caminada, there is a chance Biel might snatch him away from them.
