Drafted by the Devils in 2018 and signed to an ELC in May, Akira Schmid will get to be part of this years' training camp. The 21-year-old spent last season with the Sioux City Musketeers in the USHL but is expected to be part of New Jersey's organization this season.
The Devil's camp is starting today, featuring six goaltenders, 15 defensemen, and 29 forwards.
