Nashville Mayor declared September 23 of 2020 Roman Josi Day

Upon winning the Norris Trophy, the city of Nashville also decided to honor the Swiss defenseman.

Roman Josi honored in Nashville

Roman Josi got celebrated yesterday for his win as the best defensive player of the 2019-20 NHL season. The Nashville Mayor John Cooper declared Sept. 23, 2020 Roman Josi Day.

That was, however, not all of it. The Nashville Predators planned a surprise for their defenseman in the Bridgestone Arena. When Josi arrived, he was greeted by a lot of the Predators employees and was presented a video package with well wishes from his teammates, friends and family.
