According to Sport-Express journalist Igor Eronko, the former HC Ambrì-Piotta player and the Chicago Blackhawks have a deal in place now.
The Hawks' general manager Stan Bowman already told The Athletic's Scott Powers at the end of March that they were going to sign him. However, at the time, the deal was expected to be closed after the World Championship.
Dominik Kubalík was drafted by the Los Angeles Kings in 2013. His rights were traded to the Blackhawks earlier this year. In 50 regular season games for the Biancoblù last season, he recorded 25 goals and 32 assists.
