Most of the GCK Lions' departures have already been announced by the respective player's new team. Marc Aeschlimann (SCL Tigers) , Lionel Marchand (HC Ambrì-Piotta), Vincenco Küng (SC Langenthal) and Fabian Berri (HC Thurgau) are headed out.

Ryan Hayes, a member of the Lions for the last five seasons, will not be back with the team next year either. He made 219 games for them, recording 225 points. Occasionally, the 33-year-old also suited up for the ZSC Lions.

Corsin Casutt, for his part, is retiring from professional hockey after over 1000 games in the two highest leagues in Switzerland. The Zürichsee-Zeitung already wrote about the 37-year-old's decision to hang up his skates back in March.

New faces on the Lions will be Timotée Schaller (from HC Fribourg-Gottéron's organization), Robin Leone (from Lausanne HC) and Matthias Mémeteau (from HCV Martigny). While the first two have signed for two years, the latter has gotten a one-year deal. All of them are forwards. Liekit Reichle, who left the organization to go play in the WHL last summer, will be back with GCK.

A bunch of players have received contract extensions - Robin Zumbühl and Xeno Büsser for two years, Sascha Ruppelt, Gianluca Burger, Alexander Braun, Adam Falus, Victor Backman, Julian Mettler, Roman Schlagenhauf all for one year.

Youngsters Marlon Graf, Joel Henry, Nicolas Baechler, and Livio Truog have received new two-year deals. They all mostly suited up for the Lions this past season already.
