Swiss League

The team of the Swiss League has acquired goalies Loic Galley and Timur Shiyanov, as well as Lukas Rubin, Jannik Fröwis, and Maxime Orlov.

Loic Galley, 19, is a product of HC Fribourg-Gottéron's organization, and this season he mainly suited up for their U20 squad. Galley also played for the Düdingen Bulls in the MySports League and debuted in the National League playing one game with the Dragons and one game with HC Ajoie.

The other goaltender signed by EHC Winterthur, Timur Shiyanov, is of Russian citizenship but holds a Swiss player's license. This season, the 22-year-old appeared in one game for Genève-Servette HC and 23 games for HC Martigny in the MySports League.

As for Lukas Rubin, the 21-year-old defenseman arrives from EHC Bülach of the MySports League, for which he suited up 36 times this season, collecting 18 points.

Finally, Jannik Fröwis and Maxime Orlov will reinforce the offense department of EHC Winterthur. Fröwis, 22, joins Winterthur from Austria, his country, to which he returned in 2019 after eight years in Switzerland. For his part, Orlov is a 19-year-old French forward who spent the last four years with EHC Biel's junior squads. Orlov recorded 55 points in 40 games with the U20 team this past season.

At the moment, the duration of the five contracts has not been communicated by EHC Winterthur.
