EHC Olten had been looking for a third import player for a while. The Oltner Tagblatt reported two weeks ago that Colin Smith was one of the options the Mice were exploring. At the time, his team was, however, not willing to let him go.
Smith joins EHC Olten from the Black Wings Linz. In 16 games for them this season, he has recorded five goals and nine assists. He will already practice with the team today.
