After more than 100 games in the National League and about 300 in the Swiss League, Luca Camperchioli has decided to hang up his skates. In recent times, Camperchioli was repeatedly stopped with health setbacks due to injuries and could play only three games last year and zero this season.

In addition to the retirement of Camperchioli, EHC Visp also announces an acquisition: 20-year-old Tamás Ortenszky will join them for the next two seasons from the youth organization of EHC Biel, which he joined in 2017. The Hungarian right-handed defender will have a Swiss player's license.

This season, Ortenszky mainly suited up in the Swiss League with the HCB Ticino Rockets (zero points) and also participated in the U20 World Championship with Hungary.

Finally, EHC Visp announces that Marc Rüegg joins their technical staff with immediate effect as a consultant. Rüegg, a former player of the Valaisans, will also take care of scouting activities for the club.
