"Intensive talks and negotiations have taken place," Grieder says. Although the situation in December is not easy, he does not want just a replacement for Knelsen, but an actual reinforcement: "The new foreigner will then also be our third import for the rest of the championship," he adds.
With his current imports, Dion Knelsen and Garry Nunn, Grieder can imagine to extend their contracts beyond the current season: "If they continue to play like they have so far, then our interest in a further cooperation is great, of course."
Otherwise, there are still too many question marks when it comes to planning the next season, Grieder says, hinting at the possibility of playing in the National League next season: "I have to keep a few options open, especially in view of our good sporting position."
