In the game between the EVZ Academy and EHC Olten on Sunday, the home team's Nico Gurtner took a knee-on-knee hit by the visitor's Dion Knelsen. The latter has now been provisionally suspended for one game. His hit will also be taken a further look at by the league and the 31-year-old might face more consequences.
In his first season with the Mice so far, the Canadian has put up 24 goals and 29 assists in 36 games.
