Tommy Sjödin will head to Switzerland on the weekend and join head coach Fredrik Söderström for his first practice on Sunday. The 54-year-old Swede will thus replace former assistant coach Dennis Hall, who left the club almost four weeks ago.

For the past couple of years, Sjödin has worked as an assistant coach in the SHL for Brynäs IF and Timrå IK. As a player, he also played in Switzerland from 1994 until 1999, for HC Lugano and EHC Kloten. In 1991 he won the gold medal with the Swedish national team at the World Championship.
