HC La Chaux-de-Fonds has been looking for their new head coach since they fired Mikael Kvarnström five days ago. While team manager Loïc Burkhalter has taken over the coaching position ad-interim, the club has been exploring the market in order to find a replacement for the Swede.

Guido Pfosi, 54, has been coaching the junior team of EHC Biel since the 2014-15 season. As a player, Pfosi suited up for EHC Arosa, EHC Olten, EHC Biel, HC La Chaux-de-Fonds, and SC Lyss at different levels of Swiss hockey.

According to Arcinfo, the successor of Kvarnström will not be Arno Del Curto, while the names of Pat Lefebvre (VEU Feldkirch) and Scott Beattie (no team) also came up in the past days. Nonetheless, at the moment Guido Pfosi seems to be in pole position, the same source reports.
