"For me, this is the best and the right solution," SCL's team manager Kevin Schläpfer says. Jeff Campbell, who was not able to finish the past season due to injury, already helped out in their coaching staff as a video coach and assistant coach. He is currently attending various courses to get ready for his new challenge.

Campbell thus succeeds SC Langenthal's former head coach Per Hånberg, who left the club in direction of EHC Kloten. Before that, the 38-year-old Canadian has played for SCL since 2010. Overall, he has appeared in 439 games in the Swiss League, in which he recorded 591 points (242 goals).
