According to GD (relayed by Hockeysverige.se), Linus Ölund and Simon Bertilsson would have had valid contracts in place for the next season with Brynäs IF. They would, however, now be free to leave.
Apparently, there is also interest in the two players from Swiss teams. The two Swedes might thus end up in Switzerland after all. Ölund recorded ten goals and eight assists in 47 regular-season games this season. Bertilsson put up three goals and five assists in 41 games.
