With their contracts expiring, the two Finns have agreed to new two-year deals with the Biancoblù.

Janne Juvonen will continue minding the net of HC Ambrì-Piotta

Goaltender Janne Juvonen arrived in Ambrì towards the end of the last season and had helped them reach the pre-playoffs. In Juvonen's contract a clause for an additional season has been inserted. For his part, Virtanen joined HC Ambrì-Piotta at the beginning of the current season coming from Färjestad BK.

In addition, HCAP announces the signing of Dario Wüthrich from EV Zug for the next two championships. The 23-year-old right-handed defender already played for Ambrì 18 games on loan from the Bulls during this season.

Over the course of the season, Juvonen has been averaging a save percentage of 0.921, the second-highest save percentage in the league, only trailing ZSC Lions' Šimon Hrubec. As for Jesse Virtanen, he scored eight goals and collected 19 assists in 43 games so far while averaging 22:37 minutes on the ice per game (eighth in the league in TOI).
