National League

As Klaus Zaugg writes on Watson, team manager Sven Leuenberger apparently changed his mind and might try to keep Bodenmann around.

Aiming at a rejuvenation of the roster, Sven Leuenberger declared in December that Simon Bodenmann, 34, would leave the club at the end of the season. Now, it seems that the highly sought-after forward might stay with the ZSC Lions after all. Reportedly, Bodenmann has rejected offers from HC Lugano and Genève-Servette HC and has gathered the interest of EHC Kloten, HC Ambrì-Piotta, and the SCL Tigers.

With 14 goals so far this season, Simon Bodenmann is the ZSC Lions' top Swiss scorer (and the second-best on the team, only behind Juho Lammikko). Considering the entire National League, only three forwards with a Swiss license have scored more goals: Tyler Moy, Fabio Hofer, and Christoph Bertschy.
