Rickard Wallin, team manager of Färjestad BK, is building his team for the upcoming season and he is interested in some of Switzerland's import players.

According to Värmlands Folkblad (relayed by hockeysverige.se), both Jacob de la Rose (HC Fribourg-Gottéron) and Magnus Nygren have received a visit from Wallin. Both players used to play for Färjestad back in the day.

Nygren, who would be able to leave HC Davos in the next offseason as he has an out clause in his contract, says that it feels good that they prioritize meeting him but added: "It's time to come up with something. I'm getting a clear picture of what the options are, but it's a difficult decision."

Magnus Nygren, who captained Färjestad before he joined HC Davos in 2017, has been playing in Switzerland for the past six seasons. This season, the defenseman has recorded three goals and eleven assists n 23 games for HCD.
