According to the Tages-Anzeiger, Walter Frey, the president of the ZSC Lions, held a speech and also presented Lukas Flüeler with a surprise: in honor of the goaltender's career, a banner with his face and his number 30 was raised to the rafters of the Swiss Life Arena.
He is only the third member of the ZSC Lions to receive that honor: Ari Sulander and Mathias Seger were the other two. Flüeler played 15 seasons for the ZSC Lions, appeared in 555 games for them, and won four titles.
